  No direct documentation on the connection between Levi Dennis b. 1778 MD and his sons: James M; John; Gabriel Dennis; and William Gene Dennis. Descendants of the other sons of John Tennison are accounted for. So by default the remaining are assigned to Levi. This generation was born and raised in Overton County, TN with the other Dennis family members. We have received DNA confirmation that son Levi H. Dennis b. ca. 1815, along with two brothers moved to Allen Co., KY. These families were the only ones to relocate to that county.
